exhaust pop...

i have a custom cat-back exhaust system... i was wondering what causes that pop.. i noticed that it happens when i floor it n im near redline n then i suddenly let go of the gas... what causes that pop? is it good? bad?

im not sure what cause it but a lot of people i know have the some problem
