'92 headlight swap

a friend of mine just got a 92 civic and it has projectors......in the back we found the stock headlights.....he suggested that i swap them into my hatch.....any suggestions on what i'd need, besides mabey the 92 headlight bracket

I can't be sure, but u might be able to use the bracket in ur car. The lights are pretty size so the mounts shouldn't be that different. If not, u could either swap brackets or drill into ur existing one and secure it with some nuts. :2cents:

i know i'll have a lil work to do as far as the hood goes

there used to be a guy with 5th gen projectors in his sedan (old skoolers know him as Droopy). he did the work. had to cut some of his hood and weld back in to get the right shape. back 3-4 summers ago it was worth it because they only made the projectors for 5th gen. i dunno if it's so worth it now.

i say if he offers them for free them buy them, sell on ebay, and buy some that fit :)

note: the gap between the hood and bumper are due to him fitting a crx front bumper on. he really liked a specific aftermarket crx bumper that he planned to fit on...but he sold the car before it happened
