CAI/Header Problem

Alright I've been reading up, and I've heard that Cold Air Intakes are "NOT MADE FOR AUTOMATICS" just manual transmissions. Yet I'm still finding CAIs from name brand companies claiming to be for Automatics. Which is it?
Another thing, If I plan on Turbo Charging my civic in a year or so, should I even bother buying DC Headers right now?

Air intakes can be used on both manual & auto. It has nothing to do with the trans, so why would it matter?
No, don't waste your money on a header if your going turbo. You will have to replace it with a turbo manifold.

"The AEM CAI will *only* fit on the DX, LX, and EX with manual transmitions. Since the HX is basically the same as an EX the AEM CAI for the EX with manual transmition should fit the HX with manual transmition, but this has not bean verified.
The reason that this will only work on the civics equiped with a manual transmition is that the AEM CAI mounts to a bracket located on the manual transmission." Sry the 7thgencivic FAQ got me a little confused.

Hmmm this is the first time I have heard of this. I would think that the CAI would still work you just might have to modify the bracket a little.

Here's an idea: Get the correct part & dont worry about it!

What he is tring to say is that they don't make "the right part" so he wants to know if another can be fitted.

Well I had several friends tell me that this was complete bullshit, and due to the fact that i've never heard this before, and that I still see CAI's labled for Automatics, I'm not going to believe it.

I have another quick question to ask, rather than making a new topic. What's the difference between Stainless steel headers, and Ceramic ones? Any performance difference, or just looks?
