are 14s too small for an 89 240? id like to get the real Watanabes but impossible to find, but these konigs look just like em, and the biggest they have are 14x7, also what size tires would yall recommend, were i to get these?

Well, personally I would never put smaller than a 15 inch rim. But thats just me. As for tire size No smaller than a 205, although 195's arent bad if its just a daily driver. Sidewall on a 14 inch rim is prolly gonna be either 65 or 70. I dunno, depends on what you are looking to do here...

14s are the way to go if you dont care about looks at all. a 14" rim in the giant 240 wheel well wouldn't look too hot. not that 15s or 16s do either. i've seen 17s that still look too small.

azenis for 14s are like $40 and come in the 195/60- which is stock on most width and sidewall height on most s13s.

i'm thinking that most if not all brake upgrades won't fit behind 14s

most brake up grades don't even fit behind the 15" wheels. if you want real watanabe's check out ebay, theres usually sets posted for sale but there a lot more $ than those konigs, expect the $800+ range. i wouldn't go with 14" s, i think that would look strange.

the best way to go is do coil-overs first (or other suspension set-ups) so that your car is lowered. then, 14's and 15's look REALLY good on 240's, especially when they have a bit of negative camber.

old school wheels definitley look good on 240's, but definitley not when the car is stock.

thats true, i love the way my car looks lowered and its only on stock SE wheels, i won't take the 17s outta the garage til after winter and a paint job.
