Brake replacement @41K

My dealer hit me with an estimate of $1000.00 to replace the front and rear pads, sensors and rotors at 41K.
The front pad were replaced at 21000 (under warranty) they didn't replace the rotors at that time. Mt beef: The sensors never went off...so then I could have put on new pads before the rotors were shot. Anyone think that the sensors were bad and thus the whole deal should be covered under warranty?

Because the way the rotors wear, the sensor does not always get cut and set the light. If you are mechanicly inclined, buy the rotors, sensors, and brake pads and do it yourself, otherwise shop around. as for the warranty stuff, brakes wear out. You could try driving slower.
