alright all you smart ones i got a question? I just recently purchased a 94 ls teg, i have got major plans for this one, but i got a question.

If i drop a B20 into it what steps do i need to take and what all needs to be done can i keep my tranny, and my shift linkage, and everything else or what i need some help.

Also after that step is done what would be the best turbo for it, see i don't know to much about the turbo scene but i'm getting there.

thanks for your time and what should i do?

Regarding the motor swap, everything from your ls with swap onto the b20. Also, depending on which year b20 you get, you might need to swap over your ls intake manifold too.

Why swap to a B20B? If you want to do a cheap N/A build you'll make more power with some CTR pistons in your stock bore B18B, and if you want to do forced induction you'll have a lot safer car running boost on 81MM bore than 84MM bore.

why swap out a perfectly good engine for a turbo project for another engine. stick with the ls and save the cash for the custom turbo setup you can build :iceslolan

they are right, if youre gonna turbo, keep the B18b, stock form it handles more boost. and if you did go b20, everything from your car bolts right to it. Id use your head as well, or at least cams cuz they are better for top end since they arent made for a torquey engine in an SUV.
