my buddy that always talks shit about dsm's would always get his ass kicked by my car he use to have a honda civic.... but he is going to college at the end of the year... so his parents bought him a brand new honda S2000 and i am really really nevous to race him.... what all would i have to do to my car to beat him in the 1/4 mile?? and just so everyone knows my car is the turbo model but not awd... I DONT WANNA GET BEAT BY A HONDUH!!!! :banghead:

just get a $600 wet nitrous system, bigger fuel injectors, and use preminum fuel, lol get a 100shot, and spraayy lol member he has close to 250 hp, you got 210, but add 100 shot you'll have just as much, if not more lol and you will be lighter get a really good launch lol and you should get him lol Good luck!

Screw nitrous, all you need is like FourG63 97GST said, a few supporting mods, intake exhaust BOV, and a 16g turbo... with just those few things you will waste him and his 35k car. will be more than 3-400 dollars though...

A local guy here (you may konw his name, Leon Reitman) had a stock 1g turbo FWD. He put in some race gas, turned up the boost, and ran a 13.9 on street tires. Just to give you some hope ;) But most likely you'll need a turbo upgrade since if I remember you have a 2g. Get a 14b for 100 bucks, instal kit for 200, and thats taken care of. You'll just need the usual mods like pump, BOV, boost control, intake and exhaust. I ran 12s on this setup, with AWD. FWD would have been mid-low 13s.

I dont know about everyones set up, but my opinion would be boost controller(turbo xs has a single manual one for around $90. psi to 16. 255 fuel pump $200. and intake $50-$100. with this set up itll be a close run. and if your a good driver you could take him.

Wow I hate honda's but i'll give the s2000 credit. I think with your car you can give him a run for his money but like what dude where's my dsm said you should probably get nitrous. That would be a quick temp. boost till you can get more parts. I heard the Zex nitrous system works well with dsms. Edelbrock did make a cheap universal nitrous system for under $200. I don't know if it's worth it though. Try to give us results after the race. It'll be a good one. I'm pretty sure we're all hoping you can show this Honda what's up and give him another taste of the dsm world.
