I am one of those with the same Idea as the rest Bigger is better in my opinion. I wanted to know if a swap is possible in this truck and what are the most common swaps with out alot of complications. Money is not a problem but I would like to know of the best and what is required to make this swap happen. To all of those that respond, Thanks for the information and I appreciate it.

well, when/if i get my ranger, i wanna drop the 302/5.0L in it
you could go w/ the 351W also
351C is to wide
so is the 4.6, i think
the 5.4 is possible, but all sorts of shit need to happen, ie move firewall back, suspention
you could of course drop a 4.0L if you dont have that already. its ez, cheap, ect.
i would much rather the 5.0
finding parts for it isnt a bitch, and theres the lovely v8 rumble.... :smokin:

Have you ever looked into the 2.3L TURBO? People are swapping in them and blowing other cars away. without too much mods, the stock 2.3T can handle over 400hp. It dosen't cost that much- anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand, depending on how good of shape the motor is and how complete.
