This was a challenging paint scheme to pull off. But I'm really pleased with the end result.
There are over 75 decals on this monster!! This is NOT the prepainted kit.
It's number 3 in my 'vette collection. With 3 more versions on the way soon.
It was painted Tamiya Light Gunmetal. The rest is decals.
The hood was cut off to view the engine.
Enjoy!

How difficult was it to cut the hood on that kit? I've got one myself and don't like the idea of leaving the body unglued.
It does look great. Plenty of congratulations.

How difficult was it to cut the hood on that kit?
The body of this kit is quite thick. To make cutting the hood easier, I thinned it by using a dremmel where the cut lines are. Then I just used a x-acto knife. The body of this kit fits like a glove. I have not glued the body on any of them. The only permanent part is the front clip and head-lights.
