Hi All!
I have an '87 Topaz that had the A/C converted over from R12 to R134A. In any event, I replaced the Low Port with a port that is "L" shaped so that the port is vertical as opposed to horizontal. The manufacturer claims that the replacement port can not be removed or it will be permantly damaged. The problem is that no refrigerant appears to be going into the system. The "pin" in the port moves in when depressed and refrig comes out but I can't get anything in! They have since gone out of business and I was wondering if it is possible to replace the port as opposed to replacing the entire dryer unit (which I DO NOT want to do!)? Any ideas???? Thanks...Bobby
