1ZZ-FE engine enhancments

High I am going to do some stuff to my 4 banger 1ZZ-FE engine and wanted to know if there is anyone who has done something to this engine and how it worked for them. I want to put a turbo on it and want around 8 to 10 boost. I think I will need an aftercooler and larger fuel injectors. Possibly the fuel injectors used on the Honda S2000.

This engine is a dual cam. would you sugest geting bigger cams? heard that it can increase torqe alot, by getting bigger camshafts.

My plan of equip is
Turbo
Intercooler
Strieght pipe exauhst
blow off valve
New Honda S2000 fuel injectors

Possible needed equipment (dont know if I need it)
New fuel pump?
New ignition terminal?
new spark plugs?
do something to the computer of the car??
would I have to reprogram the fuel map?
what would I have to reprogram?


Side topic ----

What is the point of the intercooloer?
is it to cool down the oil running thru the engine and the turbo or is it to cool down the air. If it is the air I dont see how that works.
