has anyone drriven a e36 318is? if so could someone describe the pros/cons, i had a e28 528e, and its shocks broke-my father owns a e46 m3 so i am quite a driving enthusiest(?), i'm looking for a 3 series, e30 or e36, preferably coupe, the 318is looks nice, and ive read in a lot of places that it handles well, could anyone back this up, also, if iwere to find a real nice e30 325is/e/i iw ould be kinda interested, e36 might be a little better thouht(my longterm goal is to put m52 into the e36, or maybe even a 540 v8 :)) also, could someone tell me where the classifieds are on this site, i cant find them

well let me tell you i have a e36 its a 97 318ti and i personally think that it is underpowered. it is a great car except for the drivers window regulator keeps fouling up. the cars comsumpton rate is good( as in good gas milage) if i had to do it again i would try to find a older m3 or a larger 4 dr 3 series with a 6cy in it.

I have a '92 318 is, it's in pretty good shape. It is a bit underpowered, I would've like to have had a bigger engine, but I'm still happy. It does handle very well, but I just assumed that all BMW's handle well. I don't have any complaints with it (although it is the first BMW I've driven, soo...)

i have a 97' 318is. now it's turbo, about 330whp, but when it was bone stock it was alright, great gas mileage, fun car to drive.
