hooptie last week....the hatch today. leaves only the si after it's back together. :smokin:

will be ordering jer's b16, lsd tranny, hasport mounts & linkage, and stage 2 clutch in the next couple of days. i dunno about the clutch tho...place we would generally go through doesn't have any in stock at the moment. going to look around the net and see what i can find. if not, oh well...will get it when possible. he's been dying to go b series forever. an outta stock clutch isn't going to stop the steam roller :grinno:

anyone happen to hear any good deals on ACT or Center Force recently???

Here are a couple of clutch recomendations.
You can use an act heavy duty pressure plate and a carbon kevlar disk from Exedy-clutchmaster. I Am currently using an act HD PP and a exedy carbon/organic hybrid disk and it seems to work real nice, verry smooth engagment with a nice solid bite.
I have also drivin a car with the Clutch Master stage 3, if you want the ultimate in grip and responce there is none other! This thing is a bitch to learn to drive! But mang, talk about grip! That thing slamed my dome to the back of the seat!
I still recomend the hybrid clutch thoe, smooth and good grip.
I got the PP for $275 shiped and the disk was $110 shiped... So I feel for a $385 clutch I got a fair deal (Still, maybe I should have gone with the cm...)

ummmm, great and all but i mention ACT and Center Force specifically because those are the 2 were are considering.

i already have the CF stage 2 and lovin' it. he wasn't sure if he wanted to go that route or try ACT this time.

icky on the stage 3. maybe if it wasn't going to be a daily driver. stage 2 so far has been just right

I went throught the same thing when I went to order my ACT...I didnt want to wait 2 weeks, so I went with a Clutchmasters stage 2. Awsome clutch, incredible clamping force...all around good unit. Pedal feel is not much stiffer than the OE unit. Definitely worth looking into.

With that said, if I had a choice between that and an ACT, I'd still go with the ACT.

:slap: doh! what was i thinking? i stand corrected, he has decided he wants ACT this time. it's not that he doesn't like my CF...couldn't decide between ACT and CF for myself. habib suggested CF, shop had it in stock, rest is history.

after much discussion...the decision was made. it's always been my way when it came to my car so he has every right to want to do up his car his way.

i don't think we'll be doing them at the same time. will be more like back to back to back swapping....his b16, your z6, & green si's replacement stuff
