Yeah, so... Driving is great and all... and I do like driving, don't get me wrong. I've enjoyed driving for 5 years now... but 2 wheels are soooooo much more fun. Only problem is that drivers don't see the 2-wheelers. Yesterday made it now TWO riders that I know well that got hit by cars. :( But imagine how great it is to get into those long, windy corners when you are leaning and the wind is rushing past you and it's awesome.

You should buy a Yugo...
I like to drive, it's a great stress release for me (sometimes) I used to ride the moped, not really going anywhere but for fun since the roads around here have lots of curves, and you could get going faster than you ought to with such weak brakes going down hill. Even in winter I took it out, lots of fun - but now I'm rid of it.

I wish there were more back roads for me to drive on... :( They're hard to find around here, and rarely go anywhere useful...

Agreeing with everyone, driving rocks. But I've only found one road with some good turns, and there are only 4 or 5 there, but they rock.

I like driving. My favorite time to drive is when(now this may sound wierd) but right before it starts to storm. When the really dark clouds are rolling in and the sky has a green erie tint to it along with thunder and lightning. Roll down the windows and turn up the ol' trusty bumps and just cruize at about 80mph. Man I hope it rains and gets like that real soon, b/c now that I think about it, i want to do it.

i think today was when the total love of driving came to me. i had a school photography project to do so i borrowed the local toyo dealers MR2..put the top down and cruised @ like 70 on the back roads. it was soooooo much fun. and i agree with most of u...it wouldnt be 1/2 as fun with an automatic..sorry hogie lol. it kinda came to me today cuz i was just enjoying the feel of driving...usually its just..home..school..home...and its boring

I find the most fun I have is driving by myself just going out and picking a place where to go and find every possible route there, then next time go about double the posted speed limit and scare the shit out of whoever is with you.

Yes driving is indeed fun- especially when you have the sympony of tired horns of tired FIAT Pandas and Alfa Romeo 33's in surround sound (READ: In front of you, planted in your rear bumper and giving you mean looks from both sides of you) especially when there is the twice-daily accident on the Autostrada and the damn traffic banks up because Genoa is too small to have more than one decent Autostrada. Of course then there are the Ferraris that would be fine if the driver wasn't swigging something at the same time he was behind the wheel of it. Needless to say the satisfying squeal of someones tyres lighting up because thier feet are too heavy for thier accelerator and clutch pedals. Yes driving in ITaly is great
