Ranger Engine Swap

I see there are others out there with the same types of ideas...Right on!!
I've got a '96 Ranger that I purchased the other day with every intension of taking it home and gutting it. First I went down to my local wrecking yard and found a '93 Thunderbird Super Coupe, right rear totalled, with less than 95k on the odometer. I bought the engine ( a supercharged intercooled 3.8 V6) and took it home to start getting it ready for the ranger. I happen to have a Terminator Plus (Viper Spec Tremec 6 sp) laying around in my garage, it's for my Cobra but isn't currently being used, (another story in itself). I believe that the trans mounts to the block the same as it would a 302 or 351, I've been told that the 3.8 is basically the same as a 302, minus 2 cylinders. My concern is getting the computers and wiring right. Has anyone done this swap before? Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated!
