Just getting started

I just got a 1995 acura integra, and I was wondering what was the best was to get the maximum amount of horsepower for about 1,000 dollars. I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a cold air intake, exaust system, and headers. Can someone please help me out? (I know I'm a newbie, and I really don't know much. I'm just now getting into cars.)

that will only get u about 15hp at the max....mabey even 25hp :biggrin:

u could always do cams, ebay chip :uhoh: :icon16: , head work, etc....or if ur really bold....do a homemade turbo :thumbsup:

That sounds great, but how exactly would I go about doing a homemade turbo? Are there any tutorials online or a book I could read? Also, what type of engine bay chip should I get?

Also, does anyone else have any ideas?
