Clutch---URGENT

I have a quick question. I need to replace the clutch, and while I havent dont this , I need to nkow how hard it is. I beleive I haev to life the engine and support it and then remove the transmission and clutch to replace it. if anyone has replaced there own clutch any advice or directions would be helpful

well, to say the least, you have a MAJOR job ahead of you. i replaced my clutch in my 92 wagon and it took me about a year (only because i didnt have the tools) dont worry about supporting the engine, i just left the left side mount on. just pull things like the air box, battery, hoses and wiring, motor mounts, slave cyl and axles. once you pull the tranny, make sure you have all 3 electrical connections and the hydrolic line disconnected. once you pull the tranny, have your flywheel remachined, and put on the new clutch and pressure plate. now comes the fun part, getting the tranny lined up and back on. get a couple of strong friends and get that bitch back on. this step took me a couple hours to do with the help of a friend. put all the shit back together. make sure you put in tranny fluid, and bleed the hydrolic system, and you should be done. if you have any questions feel free to im me on aim - juggalotill6137 or email me at [email protected]
