stock supras come with smaller twin turbos. 1 Big turbo is better then 2 smaller ones. And as you can tell, 2 of those size turbo wouldnt fit.

Okay, heres some updates
http://www.rankmyride.com/data//4/1/1423//.large/image1104.jpg
I fixed the gap inbetween the turbo and intake pipe

Tires; they are the stock tread pattern, just different widths. The front ones are skinnier by 2-3mm's. I replaced the front ones with a pair of back ones from a junk supra. So, it has wider tires up front now.

ok, correct me if i'm wrong, but the whole reason twin turbo setups r used is for quicker spooling, right? u can make the same power w/ 2 small turbos and get quicker spooling, which means better acceleration. Am i right? :eek7: if ur Supra isnt a dragcar or a drift ride, then top end power (bigger turbos) is better, right? ne way, i thought the turbos were on the left (US drivers side) on Supras. my AMT TFATF turbos r on the left. the only explanation i have is that they switched the turbos because of the US steering system. just my :2cents:
plz correct me if im wrong, guys.

I've never really seen the point in the 2turbo vs 1 turbo debate. High Powered Drag cars have 1 huge f*** off turbo (the Ex Vitermini R33 in Australia comes to mind (will be fastest Skyline in the world)). This does not mean that 2 smaller turbos don't do the job. a current import magazine has an article on a 800rwhp RX7 that features twin turbos, and this car is good for 10 second quarters...
anyway that was rather pointless. and your comment on the supra engine into a 86 sprinter... While I'm not really familiar with the engine codes of supras (I know theres 1jz and 2jz), It is possible to shoehorn a 1jz into a sprinter and get a roadworthy (in australia at least). I know this because one of my friends is really interested in that idea :D

Um, the FATF Supra's turbo's are on the right/passenger side (US Spec; left hand steering)
