New Car?

I've really been thinking hard about this lately. I have a '97 EX. I love my car, but it's so slow. I really need a faster car. I'm in college so I don't have any money. What do you guys think of this plan? I sell my car for between $5000-$6000. I then go and buy a '92-'95 hatch with a ton of miles on it for $1500-$2000. Then I have some money to do the swap to a b18c1. I think the plan is good, but eveyone is telling me that it's stupid. Tell me what you all think. Thanks

I found a '94 hatch in my area for $1995. I am gonna buy one with a lot of miles on it so the price is really low. I mean i'm gonna be swapping it out anyway, right?

if you can find one for that cheap, hell go for it. The B18C1 swap would be a good idea too. :)

That sounds like an awesome plan. That's exactly what I want to do. Ideally, I'd like to get a '95 hatch (just becuase it's the newest 5th gen) and swap in a b16. With luck, it could all be done for $5000.
