The Powerhouse amps are pretty bad ass. I've heard that the D2(shredder) is insane, and a friend of mine has a D3 powering 4 kicker L7 10s. The amp is a monster.

the question is, will the 2 12's handle the amp :)
the amp will do what its suppose to do as long as u have don't go under the amp's stable impedence.
the EQ amp is a very strong amp.

Lets put it this way. I own an earthquake powerhouse D2. I bought it pretty close to when they first came out in 2002.
I use it in my 73 chevy stepside pickup, it runs two digital designs 12" subwoofers (the 9500carbon series).
The amp's original claim was just over 3000 watts.....
I've had it over 4 years, it is still putting out an insane 5,500 at 1ohm.
The enclosure is 12 cubic feet with a 90% efficient slotted port design. They hit so f----- hard that both of the outside door shells on my truck have cracks a little over an inch long just near the windows in a spot or two.
The amp has destroyed 4 other pairs of subs (all audiobahns that claimed 1,800 rms continuous handling) Completely melted them solid until they did'nt move !
Even the DD subs are starting to die on me.
YES, THE AMP IS A BAD M-F'R. Earthquake also has a new design on the powerhouse series this year and they have a D-3, a D-4, and some others as well.
GET ONE.

Old threads need to die a quiet death.
And earthquake is over priced they have good stuff but for the price of that you can get 3-ppi 1500.1 amps, hell even a rockford power series 3000 is cheaper than that on ebay.

My bad on not looking at the date on the thread....whoops.
But you are far from the truth on the audio.
Look at the records held in cema and other related sources, then spend some time going to sites that deal in retail and wholesale audio, then tell me who sells the best stuff for the money....Especially when you are talking about money to wattage ratio....or even better, longevity over their competitors and more trophies won than just about any other audio company..
My OLD D2 claimed 3,500 watts...........it puts out 5,500. The amp was only $700 new. Beat that 'Playa'
157.4 db

the D2 "sheddrer" was one of the few good things to come out of Earthquake that I remember.

And how are you measuring the total wattage, dont tell me it was on some spec sheat either. Besides total wattage doesnt matter and to that fact i see more guys running either JBL, MA, Us amps, zapco than i have seen running earthquake. I was implying the price for the biggest amp they have with a retail of 1500. Also i hit 139 with 2 polk EX series 2 12's from 96 in a 1.5 dual sealed enclosure with 150 RMS, Yes i said it 150 rms total, thats 75 watts a sub. The only problem with most sound competitions around here they either do its by amount of subs so im screwed there, or total spl.
