Upgrade Alternator

I having problems with my new alternater. When the engine is at idle I have about 14.5 volts but when I my RPM increases the voltage drops. I had the alternater checked and it is good. I also put a brand new belt on and it still does the same thing. I was wondering if the computer system had anything to do with it. If anybody has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
