fuel

hi im having some fuel problem my engine crank and click but it not gettin any fuel to the engine, i smell fuel when i get inside the car my older brother tell me that my fuel line is problaly clog up when i spay some starting fluid into my throttle the car seem to start up for like a second or so and it shut up and i have another problem then my check engine light isnt that bright as my other light, the light is dimed and it keep on blinking then i wouldnt see nothing i check the all fuses and replaced it can any1 help me????

in the past the car was on the jacks and it started up then after a month or so it didnt want to start up can any1 help me with the problem

try taking off the fuel line where it meets the fuel filter, then try starting the car, if no fuel comes out of the line then you have a clog or leak or something, but if you do have fuel comin out the try replacing your fuel filter. I am not sure what to tell you about your check engine light, there might be a reason for it being on though, you might want to check your ecu and see if it is throwing any codes.

ok, lift up the carpet on the passenger side floor board where the passenger would put his feet at, then look at that metal cover and turn your key on, then count how many times the light flashes without pauseing, the go to this site and see what your problem is http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/codes.html

Is fuel pumping turning on when you first switch the ignition on?

thank for your guys help i got my car to start and it seem i have another problem my fuel line is crack(under car) and i need to replace the whole line connecting it from my gas tank to the motor i was leakin out so much gas today.. but atleast swapin the motor went well
