Modine is a good radiator - take it to a shop to have them solder it, flush it and pressure test it.

I had my 3-core shipped to me overnight for $139 with a lifetime warranty. Im in Oklahoma and they have warehouses all over the place.
Take you about an afternoon to do the work - just go slow and take your time, take pics if you ahve too. But it is really a hassle free install!

Thanks that is not a bad deal for that radiator. so the 3 core keeps the temps down even when fourwheeling. what is the difference between the 3/4 radiator and the 3 core.

On the these jeeps - it is usually 1 or 2 core radiators...not much cooling space or flow rate! I also would look at the radiator as only one part ina complete system.. I would also go with a hi-flow thermostat housing (turbocity.com) and a high flow waterpump (flowkooler.com) Also check your fan clutch just replaced mine with a heavy duty fan clutch (in Oklahoma the temps get high, in Washington - Id stick with a normal Hayden thermal fan clutch (Oreilly Autoparts $35.99)) That should definately take care of your cooling problem! Alos flush your system again just to make sure!
ALSO CHANGE OUT ALL YOUR HOSES! I use and prefer Goodyear Super miler!

ya i noticed alot of corrosion inside my lines i don't think it is clogged but it could have slowed my water down I got a thermostat housing off a 1990 i don't know if that is better or not. Could i get those hoses at a local auto store. Probably ha ha

Goodyear hoses are a tad bit more expensive - but they hold up better then most.
A 1990 stat housing is still constrictive - Turbo city sells one for $40.00.
If you have that much corrosion - keep flusihing till it comes clean!

Go with the new or 3 core especially if you have the 4.0--I found I could never flush out all the deposits especially on the 4 cyl radiators and the early cooling systems makes it a little harder to run cool.
It is really worth it!Replace the recovery"tank" too and the little restrictive hoses , all , to it too. Try a store that carries Crown replacement parts too, I have found them to be generally good as OEM and cheaper.I blew a motor due to a restrictive radiator , ran fine until i got out on the highway and that was it, had just refilled and thought
i had cleaned it all out. Ended up with a head cracked, blown head gasket, and more(It still ran, just not good at idle for 2 weeks until I got it rebuilt, the 1 plug was green with coolant! Cost me 1500.00
