Who has the most miles on a Wrangler? Post the year and miles. Also, is it the original engine? Should be interesting, I'll start.

I have a '90 Wrangler that had 125,000 miles on the little 2.5L before I yanked it out for a fairly new 318 magnum from a Grand Cherokee. The engine still ran good and probably could of gone a good 200,000 miles for needing any major work.

well, the brakes are gone, but i know what you mean. nah, the engine still runs pretty strong, it has a compression problem on the third cyllinder, but it just needs rings. even so, it's still running as well as i can remember. it's just as strong as my dad's new tj.

92 YJ with 210,972 miles. Only failure was the water pump. I credit changing the oil every 3,000 miles with the long life. I pulled the motor to drop in a Corvette motor (MORE POWER!!!!) and the 4.0 clutch disc measured the same thickness as a new replacement disc. I knew that pedal on the left was for something!

Personally, I've got a '94 Wrangler that has 120,000 miles on it. Still runs great, as it should... but the reason for this post is for my B.I.L (Brother in law)

He had Comanche (Jeep Pickup), I dont recall the year. But it had 270,xxx miles on it before he drove it from Utah to Carolina. Never had a single problem with it (during the trip). He sold it to another B.I.L which never took care of it. Now it needs way more work than its worth, with just over 320,xxx miles on it.

true story.
