rumour has it that a mclaren will be sold by christies in december
i decided to check things out, and found that there's just one christies auction in december for cars.
it's the "Vintage Cars at the Jack Barclay Showrooms" auction, it has sale number 6843 and it takes places the second of december. auction time set on 6.00pm @ king street. jomo, their phone number is +44 (0)20 7893 9060
since the last mclaren that mclaren wanted to sell themselves was eventually sold by christies at the jack barclay showroom i think that the car that will be sold this time be another car that mclaren wants to sell. i can think of only one car.
#065 isn't in the park lane showroom anymore, it was at genesis and it is or was undergoing a full rebuild. it is te be sold after that. that can happen through Taylor and Crawley, but McLaren hasn't done that with #011, they tried themselves and were unseccesfull in their attempt (they asked about 900.000 GBP for it) so i think they won't do it this time either.

yeah, everyone has, server is slow so i'm not gonna upload, try searching google for mclaren park lane or something
it's the silver car that was in london for so long, if you buy it, it's like new, full rebuild, will be a bit more expensive though, and it needs to be homologated as well, more expensive than for instance dan kennedy's car
it's magnesium silver, most common colour, i think it may sell for a lot more than 011, since that needed a full rebuilt, and this one has had that and it has more history for being the car on park lane,
