So this guy buys himeslf a new Jaguar X-Type. When asked how he likes it his exact words were "I didnt want to buy this car but my budget forced me." One day i hope i can say that about a car that costs 60 grand. Oh Boo hoo you couldnt get the hundred grand car so you only spent 60. I think we should start a charity for this guy. Its just inhumane for a person to have to settle for somthing so cheap and shoddy.

Why are you complaining? If I wanted a more expensive car, but couldnt afford it but at the same time could get a nice looking car for cheaper, I would too.

Thanks for the advice Oz. Ill admit settling on a car thats 30 grand is a huge step away from settling for a car thats 60 grand, and i probably should have looked that up before i posted, but i still envy people who can settle on a Jaguar because they couldnt get what they wanted.

What a moron for not thinking outside the square.

If he couldn't afford a more expensive car, there is options:
- take a loan, with him having 60k of equities he could have gotten a loan EASY as he'd surely have disposible equities, or a form of consolidated debt based, etc.
- could have even sell his current equities to raise the required capital to get the required amount
- borrowed from friends, relos, etc?

Sounds like he's a snob, personally I wouldn't bother with such ppl, getting worked up over it is just a waste of time/effort.

2 Yugo's for $36? This one's on me!

I wonder what kind of bomb/pride of rabid lions went off in the interior of the (red?) Yugo?

The eighties were a time of excess. Some people bought brand new cars every two years because they could. They were called yuppies. Other people bought brand new cars every two years because for 1.5 of them, they rode the bus and saved. They were called Yugo owners.

P.S. My neighbor across the street still owns her Yugo that she bought in 1988. It has rusted beyond belief, especially the undercarriage and due to a complete lack of exhaust piping beyond the header is louder than my friend's turbo RX7 that has a turbonetics T66 on it (if you know how loud rotaries are that will blow your mind).

What kind of bomb? Guessing from the ammount of destruction present, I'd have to say it was the exploding kind.
