Anyone know an easy way to get stickers off the body of a car. The ppl who had the car put a million (nonsense) stickers on it and the ones on the doors are hard to get off. Any recommendations on what to use.
I got the all of the ones off the window with this product I got from Pepboys with no problem, but its not working for the stupid stickers on the doors. :disappoin

If you're super careful, you can take 'em off with a razor blade, just start at a corner, and peel enough off to get a good grab with your fingers, then slowly pull the sticker off. Then just use Goof-Off to get the adhesive crap off. That's the way I did it, works good as long as your careful.

Use windex and a sharp razor. Just be careful not to push too hard. push slowly from the edges, and try to work the sticker off as a whole. If you get bits an pieces, you might scratch it up.

That's how I did the ones on the windows, but these stickers are thin-like. I get started and they just break. That's why there are irritating me cause they are some cheap ugly stickers that just won't come off. I am using a razor blade but at the rate I am going it will take about a year or so.

use a Hairdryer and a plastic paint scraper.

the hairdryer will make the sticker soft enough you can get it off with the scraper without damaging the paint... for the glue left behind some goo-off or WD40 works.

Good luck

I think you would be able to get them off just by soaking them with soapy water and then rubbing them off with a rag

DO NOT USE A RAZOR BLADE!!!!! Unless you wanna seriously mess up your paint!

When I bought my Civic it was a former 'company car' & still had the big ass logo sticker on the passenger side door. What I did is get some metal polish (the cotton ball type) and an old credit card. The metal polish will soften up the adhesive, and the plastic credit card will allow you to scrape off the sticker without messing up the paint.

Worked like a charm!

Good Luck!

I am really not worried about the paint. I mean I don't want to destroy it but If I scratch it it doesn't matter. It is getting painted anyways. I just don't want to look silly with these ugly stickers on the side. Thanks for the replies. Keep them coming. I will try some out tomorrow. Here's a pic of the nastiness, so you all get an idea of what i am talking about:

Ya, no shit! With the car in that condition, I would just sand them off & do the rest of the car while at it. Then primer to match the front fender.

Those audiobahn stickers are a good reason for someone to bust into your car - get rid of those too. For that you can use a razor blade & glass cleaner - followed by steel wool.
