Was this available in the US?

Hey everyone. Does anyone know if the 1986.1 - 1991.5 Soarer was available in the US? I'm just wondering because I was looking through the aero kits at the Taka Kaira site, and I found a cool looking Do-Luck kit; but, it's only for the previously mentioned Soarer years. I looked and I couldn't find any information about a US SC300/400 in any years earlier than approx. 1992. Any ideas? Was it maybe a different model name in the US? Any help would be greatly appreciated. :sunglasse

SC400 was first introduced in the US in May of 1991
SC300 followed in August
