I just got back from Denver and I got a Revell Silverado for $13.15, and a Fujimi Toyota A86 Turerno for $12.89. I think it was a pretty good deal. They didn't have the Skyline that I wanted though. I'll post pics tomorrow when its light out.

Yep, I finally got the Silverado. I won't have time for like the next two weeks though. I have too much stuff to do.

Where'd you get those?
That Celica kit looks just like my first Supra!
I spent most of my weekend over at a "Contest" at Hobby Town in Westminster. I came home with a first, a second and a forth.

The nixt time I go down will probably be sometime before the next school year starts.:( Wish I could go more. Maybe sometime I'll get to meet some of you guys.
I got the kits at Colpar Hobby. I told them that I came all the way here from Wyoming and they gave me the Celica for like $4 off. They said that they had a sale a little bit ago of like 25% off or something.
I'm not saying that school is bad, just a bunch of work and no time to model. :disappoin

That's not Hachiroku. That's Celica XX, aka Toyota Supra. Still a good buy.

It is? Dang. Colpar told me it was a Tureno. I bought it becuase I wanted a cool drifter car. Oh well, it was only $12.

Don't worry, it's still a "cool drifter car", plus it's something different which is always a plus 'round these parts.
Those Celica had a mighty-impressive straight six, too. If I'm not mistaken, that kit is from Fujimi's Touge series. Decent series of kits. I've always liked them.

Ok, cool. I'm glad it's still a drifter. I have no idea what seies it's from, but I open the box, and the body is so thick. The body itself weighs like a good 2 lbs. :lol2:

And there isn't much suspension detail, either. :iceslolan
But hey, Fujimi is, well, Fujimi. Just don't go planning to make huge cuts in the body and you'll do fine. Besides, drift cars aren't pretty. They need scuffs on the bumpers, primer patches on the fenders, cracks in the rocker panels, and a bunch of scrapes on the chassis pan.
To paraphrase Nike "Just build it." :bigthumb:

There is like no detail, and the instructions are more of a hassle than a help. I've been trying to find some pic of this car but I can't seem to find any. Could someone please help me out with some reference pics of this car. Thanks.
