i bought a combat front bumper (fiberglass) off this one guy that had a 91 CRX Si for only 50 bucks. to get it on, i had to take off the reinforcement bumper -_-. i'm not sure how to make brakets for the front bumper. It's hanging off of 2 wire in the middle of the bumper and it's tied up to the side. It's pretty ghetto yes, but it's mad cold now and i just wanted to see how it would look on the CRX. i'll have a picture soon, but if anyone can help, i just want to know how to make brakets and possibly a how to on it with pictures.

ok heres what you do. take your bumper support, and cut the ends offa it. those pieces that the bumper lights fit through, just hack them off. then lay the bumper support in the combat front, and center it. after you do that, drill holes through the piece between the headlights. you wanna line the holes up with the little piece on toppa the bumper support, so you can use screws to attach the two pieces together. after you have them attached, you can test fit the bumper. once you have everything lined up, you can drill holes in the fender well sections for those white plastic pieces. i think that about covers it. lemme know if you need help

yours looks different than mine, like it looks like its sitting higher, and it looks like it sticks out further

that's because it isn't bracketed in correctly :P it has 2 wires holding it up in the middle of the bumper rofl. How do u hack up the reinforcement bumper though?

if you mount the bracket to the car first, just cut off both ends of it, the parts that have the holes in them for the bumper lights. then trim whatever else is necessary to fit the bumper. i bolted the bracket to the frame first, and from there i fitted the combat front to the car, by trimming.

yea, but that bar is made out of metal, so what would i cut it with.

it sits higher because i have 17's with 215/40/17 profiles. That'll be changing soon, i'm getting 205 profiles and the rex is getting dropped this wednesday.

you would need to get a cutting wheel and a grinder to cut it off. its the cleanest way to cut it.

i didnt mean higher off of the ground, because right now mine doesnt even have a motor in it, and it sits really high. what i meant was, your bumper looks like that flat top is a lot higher up, as in closer to the headlights. it even looks like its a little too high near the corner lights. but im sure you will correct this when you mount the support in it.

note: DONT cut off the small metal bracket on top of the bumper support. it has holes in it for three screws, and it is what will hold the top of your bumper (the section between the headlights) to the support.
