I wanted to purchase 2 subs and an amp and was just wondering if there was anything wrong with my choices, and if it would sound good. The subs are 2 10" kenwood tornadoes and the amp is JBL 600.1 bp mono amp. Here are the specifications:

Kenwood 10" 600-Watt Subwoofer
Dual Voice Coil No
Impedance (Ohms) 4
Peak Power Handling (watts) 500
Frequency Response (Hz) 28Hz - 800Hz
Sensitivity (dB) 91
Woofer Cone Material Pearl Mica Injection-Molded Polypropylene
Woofer Surround Material Urethane
Voice Coil Design 2-Layer, Vented Voice Coil
Basket Material Steel
xMax - Maximum Excursion (millimeters) 12.0
QTS .83
Fs - Free Air Resonance (Hz) 35
Recommended Amp Wattage Range 18 - 300 Watts Recommended Enclosure Type Small Sealed or Ported

Amplifier Type: Mono
RMS Power: 300W x 1 @ 4 ohms
Bridged RMS Power: 600W x 1 @ 2 ohms
THD at Rated RMS Power: 0.1%
Speaker Level Inputs: Yes
Preamp Outputs: No
Built-In Crossovers: LP
Bass Boost: 0-6 dB
Frequency Response: 10-320 Hz

I don't really know much about car audio, so any feedback will help me tremendously. Thanks

Nice choice on the amp, I dont know about the subs though. I would look into a pair of Adire Audio Shivas (www.adireaudio.com) they are a 12" sub, but way worth the extra $$$ (I have the JBL 600.1 runnin 2 of the Shivas myself, and I couldnt be happier). Or if you want 10" subs, I would look into the JL 10w3 or even the Alpine Type R, IMO

those tornadoes aren't bad for wetting your feet with, but you'll see that there are much better subs out there
