I found out my sister was just diagnosed with stage three advanced breast cancer. I am very close with her, and I am really upset about this.
I can't even fathom the thought of loosing her, especially to this. She is only a year older than I, 34. Too young in my opinion. I am not going to be around much for a while. I will be spending time with her, and my family.
Thank you,
Mike

my thoughts are with you and your sister! i hope you can come back to us with a miracle story sometime in the future!
my ex step mom was just diagnosed with something terminal last week. it's not a matter of "if" but "when" and they think "when" is literally anytime. i'm not exactly close with the woman...we had hard times. but i still feel bad and even worse for my step-sis

I feel for you, my grandfather died of lung cancer that was spreading through him, and my mom had cancer as well (it's "cured" after 5 years in remission). I hope she beats the odds and makes it.

UPDATE,
First I would like to thank you all for your sympathy and kindness.
You people are the best group I have ever meet on-line, I really mean that, Thank you!
Well, she is doing much better that expected. and should make a full recovery. It will take about a year, but she will be OK.
again, thank you all!
peace and love,
Mike

Hey Mike,
That's great to hear! Sometimes all it takes is the power of prayer and a positive attitude to beat the odds. My best friends little bro had leukemia when we were younger...they did not think he was going to make it... but here we are and after it all, he is now 24 and has been in full remission for many years...
I'm sure your sis will have a similar story.
Best wishes,
Jack
