1995 BMW 550i??

I just read in duPont Registry that some guy had the only 550i in existence. He said it was featured in AutoWeek(which I haven't read in a while) and it had the only 5-series V12 ever made. is it true? I fo, I would like to see more pics and pics of that v12.
