is there a way to disable hicas?
i have found a 1991 240sx le that is in excellent condition for a good price, but the problem is i dont want super hicas, is there a way to disable it, or part the system so it will not operate?

drive the car w/ HICAS before you make your decision that you want to cancel it. push the car fast around turns on the street and on the freeway. form your own opinion, don't take others'. i like my hicas and unless you're planning on drifting, i would recommend keeping it.
o and btw, LE 240s didn't come with hicas. SE limited editions did. LE stands for luxury edition and had leather and power everything.

no your wrong, super hicas, was an option on the SE's AND le's
anyways, the steering is unpredictable, cuz it has like 3 settings, (low, medium, and high speed)
so it all of a sudden changes,
yes, you will make smaller U turns better than anyone else,
but sometimes on the highway you will fell yoruself moving sideways, or diagnal, it feels like you are not the one controlling, so its not really a good thing to have
but as he said, try it out!
