Front end

I am getting ready for my new 33" tires but I want to take care of the weak front end before I put them on.

Idler Arm.
Brace?
Truss?
Replace?

which one? I saw where FSRBIKER has replaced his with a moog. Pros/cons of this route? and FSR if you read this what is the part number? I called around locally for it and all I got was "not for Nissan" or "moog? isn't that the sound a sick cow makes?" (Federal Mogal's site does not have part numbers :-(

Tie rod ends

easy one here ordering them from EOE.

What about the pitman arm? does that need anything done to it?

is there anything else I am missing that I should beef up before putting on the tires?

- Idler arm... From an engineering perspective I feel the brace is better than the Moog replacement idler arm. The Moog is beefier, but there is nothing to stiffen the "free side" of the pivot point. The weak link is the arm pivot. Both AC and Calmini offer braces.
Maybe you will want to combine them with the SLR Truss.

I am a huge fan of EOE stuff, I have thier tie rod connectors and sliders. Depending on your finances, though, you may want to wait. AC is about to release about $700 worth of steering components. Spoke with them yesterday, they said it'll be ready to ship by Christmas. The kit replaces almost every part of the steering system apparently, and eliminates the centerlink wear problem permanently. Should be quite interesting... It damn well should be for the price.
SLR is also on the verge of releasing some upgraded steering components. Personally, I'm waiting on SLR, AC, and EOE (and maybe Calmini... but they always seem to be a day behind everyone's innovations, I don't particularly care for thier business practices) bring to the table and then get what suits me best from the three.

If I were you, I'd invest in a $35 idler arm brace and wait and see what comes next. An extra set of tie rod links could be gotten from almost anyone who has upgraded to EOEs for little or nothing. Pack those around until you actually bend one... The reevaluate if you want the tougher ones afterwards.

No idea on the pitman. It seems you would want some form of a truss on it too though.

Good luck with 33s, I hope the horsies under the hood are thoroughbred! ;)

Damn I forgot that AC was working on fixing the centerlink issue ;-)

as for turning the 33's I will only have to live with the power loss for a few weeks, I am going to put in new Ring and Pinion(sp) gears, if I understand everything correctly (fat chance there eh?) I am going to lose some gas millage when I do that, but recover the power I lost.
