Hey everyone I'm new here and glad to be a part of the forums. To start out with I have a question about B16A engines. Is there any difference between the B16A 92-93 Integra (XSi) and the B16A 92-95 (SiR-II)? I'm thinking about purchasing an engine to swap out my d15 and I'm looking over my options, both of these engines, if they are in fact any different produce 170Hp and 113trq with 10.4 compression. The reason I'm asking is .. http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc2000search.cgi?what=category&keyword=JDM%20USDM%20Engines .. that on that site the SiR-II is more expensive though they seem to be identical, any info on the differences between the two would be much appreciated. For your info my car is a 95 Civic DX Coupe of which I have yet to do any modifications.
XSi complete change over $ 1799.00 Plus shipping and handling.
SiR-II complete change over $ 2350.00 Plus shipping and handling

XSi= non OBD
SiRII(2nd Gen)= OBDI
95 Civic= OBDI so you need to get the SiRII(2nd Gen) not to mention the fact that a swap has to be of the same year of the chassis or newer for it to be legal. You need a hydro tranny which the SiRII has. The XSi has a cable in which you'd need a hydro to cable conversion kit which is not at all recomended. Overall you need the 2nd Gen, OBDI, B16A.

yup i totally agree. You could get a 1st gen and wire it and all, but its not really worth it.
