Hmmm. Not sure about what's happening there.
What engine do you have? Is it the 2.2L or 2.5L?
Is the truck a manual trans, or an auto? (if auto, are you sure it's not trans fluid in the radiator? which indicates a radiator problem.) There would also be a indications of antifreeze in the trans dip stick.
Do you have an oil pressure reading? (Should be aound 60-90 lbs. for a 2.2L, and and 35-65 lbs. for a 2.5L @ 2K rpm).
Does the engine smoke? If yes, what color?
If you don't have an auto trans, and you are NOT seeing cross contamination (oil in radiator AND antifreeze in crank case), I'd ALMOST rule out any kind of block or head crack (?). I would tend to lean toward a gasketing problem.
Check your compression, look for two cylinders next to each other that are low. (2.2 130-150 lbs., 2.5 100 lbs).

it is 4 speed yes on the oil pressure reading, no it does not smoke
