Ok, I am working on my 1st gen b16a motor again. One of the three studs that hold the fuel rail on managed to break off inside the manifold. So rather than fooling with it, I bought an SIR II manifold of ebay for 20 bucks, the runners are shorter and a little fatter so its all good, plus its got on extra vaccum port. It's still shipping but something just occured to me, is my throttle body going to bolt up and can I use the same gasket. I know the 1st gen uses a 90-91 teg ls tb gasket. Any input would be great!

I'm not sure but I think that you can use the stock tb. And if not you can get an adapter for cheap too. I would never reuse a gasket though. Anything that I've replaced with an aftermarket product I always order gaskets too if the kits I buy don't come with them. You want the best seal especially around your tb so there are no leaks and no loss of power.

if you know that its the 90-91 LS TB gasket for sure then i would say to go ahead and get it for sure, that way you dont have any leaks.

I know that that is the gasket for a 1st gen b16a tb so I would but it is really just a matter of the tb bolting up to the IM.
