Temp Gauge

It did this with my DX and now with my B16. Once in awhile when I first turn my car on the temperature will go all the way up to hot, then like 1 minute later it goes back to normal. What could be causing this?? Once again it doesn't do it that often but it kinda bothers me.

It's possible you could have some air in the system,so every once and awhile it "burps" and sends the temp way up. Try opening the bleeder screw and getting some of the air out.
