Steering problem

Hello everybody! I just bought this 97 civic EX 100K miles, Drives nice, it is stock but the steering wheel has a little play only when tires are straight, it just started. Anybody with this problem before?, Could it be the rack and pinion just going bad or is there and steering adjustment kind of thing? Thanks in advance.
