G'day all
Well this is my first time in this part of AF.com and im hoping to spend a bit more time in here in the future.
I have a little dilemma, at the moment i am carless :disappoin , but soon im hoping to recieve a 1995 honda civic hatchback (stock standard). I know shit all about honda's so im looking for suggestions as to wat i can do to my car to give it a lil more oomph!
Cheers

95 - making it a 5th gen. What model? Si, VTi, GL, GLi or Breeze? Also, what budget?

its a 5th generation hatchback GLi auto.
Budget is around 1000 - 2000.
Any idea on how much it would cost to convert it to a manual?
Cheers

Your best power up option is to get a full B16A frontcut and swap EVERYTHING. Motor, gearbox, clutch brakes, suspension. Should cost $4kish all told. With a filter, exhaust and ECU tune should be about 120kW at the engine. Any more Qs?

Well, if you want any sort of power or enjoyable driving experience, you would reasonably expect to have to spend that much on an auto 1.5L civic, no? If you are paying for it, there are MUCH better buys for the money. If not, sell it. Buy something else.
