well you are going to need the transmission obviously and i know you need to change out the hubs. they will have to be from a DX or Si. Total cost would be about $500 w/o the labor. Are you planning on swapping anytime in the near future? B16? if you are, PM me. Me and a buddy of mine swapped a B16 into his STD civic a while back and i can let you know everything that he needed to complete the swap.

Is it really gonna be $500 without labor? I had no idea it would be that much.
I want to do this to my STD but I'm not sure anymore, I thought it be only a couple hundred.
Man this sucks.

..no way $500 w/o labor... trannies can be had for $100-150... you'll need dx/si hubs...available for practically nothing at the junkyard..and you'll need dx/si axles... $50 each at the most for new ones with a warranty.... should take a competent mechanic no more than 3-4 hours to do... so figure on $500 for the total job...

..if you've got general automotive knowledge..its not too bad... its a little time consuming..but nothing 'difficult'..
