Ls/Vtec good or bad?

some say Ls/Vtec is better, stronger, faster, and save money. some say alot of work, oil leaks, and it wont last long. should i do Ls/vtec all motor or go broke on a b18c swap?

do a search on the boards. the ls/vtec question has been thrown around atleast 20 times in the past few months...
