Problems

Its been doing it for awile now and cant figure out wtf it is.
Every time i step midway on the brakes it starts to knock real loud but once i step through it stops. I get churping noise as the car is driving. The brakes were done in january. Anyone have this problem???? Or some know what the problem is???

What car do you have and does it have ABS?

It sounds kinda like you have warped rotors, and it's jerking the car making something knock. I don't believe the knock is in the brakes. Do you have 4 wheel disc brakes, or rear drums?

i have a 96 dodge stratus with drums in back and disc brakes up front

What was the extent of the brake job? Just pads/shoes? Or new rotors, calipers, drums, etc?

i had just pads put on, they took care of the rotors. the rotors are old but the pads are from january

mine squicks a bit too when slowing down (89 Daytona ES) and when accelerating from a stop. im willing to bet its the driveaxle, cuase is clunking like crazy, grabbing a brand new driveaxle (both sides) tommarow for the low low price of 160 bucks :)
