Heller porsche 934 QUESTION............

Is rhere anyone out there that has built the heller kit of the Porsche 934 (911) RSR(box pic attatched) ? If so, is it a ok kit or will i have to order a Fujimi 911 rs-74 to make it good? (i just migth anyway but......). And does anybody have any pics of one finished?

I have this kit but not started yet...
In any case you can search for some image of the Revell/Esci Porsche RSR. The plastic molds are the same, but with racing decals (Jaegermeister, Vaillant, Max Moritz, Gitanes...).
I think that it is a nice subject although the kit is not the best seen. You will probabily have some fitting problems, but belive me, if you work with sand paper and cutter the result will be an aggressive Porsche with some engine details.
Fujimi Enthusiast kits are the most detailed kits in this scale (more than 200 pieces...). Very difficult to build properly, and prices are high.
I think that you can find a heller kit for about 15 Dollars while the Fujimi Enthusiasts go up to 30/40 dollars.
Another option is to find a Testors Porsche 911 Carrera '73 (not '74!): same molds of the Fujimi Carrera but price should be not so important; in any case not less than 20/25 dollars... (Attached picture)

Thank you for the informative reply, i have built several fijimi enthusiast kits (in fact i ordered their Lamborghini lp 5000s a few minutes ago) so know about the small problems. But the results is usually worth it. i think i will build one Heller straigth from the box, and maybe sacrifice one of my Fujimi RS porsches to make the other one. But we shall see, because when the Interceptor (mad max) arrives, it will take top priority. Updates will follow as son as nimpex delivers

So are there any opinions on the Heller 1/24 934 RSR street type? I've tried heller kits in the past, but they were really bad. Warped body, out-of-register decals, etc. Is this one really an ESCI rebox?
