help sought!!!

please dont all beat me up at once but...
i jus recently bought a '92 integra ls. iam fully aware of the fact that it only has 140 hp 1.7 liters and one of the biggest downfalls, front wheel drive. i am also aware of the fact that a '94 integra pushes 160hp and a gsr 160 plus. i have about 5grand to spend. how can i make my car able 2 run with civic si's and later model integras and hondas??

first off the B18A1 is a 1.8L and it has 140hp. The 94-01 B18B1 LS only has 142hp. The B18C1 GSR has 170hp, the B16A2 Civic Si has 160. If you have $5K to spend, boost it. You can find turbo kits all day long for about $2500 and you will EASILY whoop all over those cars. Plus, you will have about another $2500 to spend on other things sch as rims, etc.

thanx 4 takin the time 2 reply, its appreciated. i was gonna jus by a new dohc vtech engine 2 start off. so jus 4get that and boost the engine i have? which would be a better idea? thanx again

oh and what does a turbo kit include? exhaust, headers and intake?

id go with a rev hard turbo it comes with the turbo t3/t4 i think and the turbo header or exhaust manifold some call it. bov stuff for the fuel system i think intercooler and downpipe. You could do that and put a vtec head on it ls/vtec.
