Caravan 2000 power windows problem

I have a problem with my driver-side power window.
Simply when I open the driver-side power window I cannot then close it.
I don't know if this is a problem with fuses or this is a mechanical or electrical wires problem?

I have the same problem with my 2000 Grand Caravan and have been frustrated with troubles since the first year I purchased the vehicle brand new. During the first year of ownership, the power window controls have made a humming noise and I've had intermittent response (at best) from time to time with both windows.

Now my passenger power window no longer goes up or down with EITHER control - drivers' side or passengers' ???

If anyone has recommendations on this - please comment or advise?

I had a similar problem with my 2001 and found that the motors used were very weak. I also found that where the front door hinges are located there is a wire harness that might have come loose. I plugged the harness back in and the windows have worked fine for about 2 years now.
