has any one here come from gmforums.com. they sold the stupid domain name and now I can't get on. so i came here hoping ppl have switched over. I haven't found any other forum that has olds aurora discussion. Im so pissed but this place is cool too so I hope you guys know something about.

yeah I was on gm forums almost everynight then out of the blue, i wanted to post something and "domain name sold" pisses me off. well anyway I hope everyone from there comes over to here. that would at least somewhat helpful.

pat, when your Aurora got tinted did your windows work when you got it back?

i never tinted my windows. but my windows are starting to act up. when I go to put down my driver's side it hesitates before it goes down. Did that ever happen to your before they broke, but anyway tinted windows shouldn't have done anything to it. I know ppl who have tint on their aurora and theres nothing wrong with theirs, its probobly the switch going bad. Try to find one at the junk yard.

I was a newbie on the gmforum. Got there just a couple of days before it died (the way it ended really bites). Glad to see several Aurora regulars on this forum, hope more will find it

I used to mod several sections there. The way it closed down so quickly I doubt it. John had been talking about selling for at least a year. I think something just pissed him off and he took it down. But that's just MHO....

I really hope so. The gm Aurora forum was my first ever. You guys really know your stuff, the posts were a major help. Your passion for this great car is catching. Our white 98 is like a member of the family.

Sorry to hear about your regular forum closing down. Maybe with some time AF's Oldsmobile forum will take off. It has always lacked members in here that stick around and post a lot. We just need some regular posters to stick around and create some good discussions and keep it going.

I'm not sure how, but I finally came across a replacement for GMF!
I couldn't understand how the thing could just disappeared like that.

Hi Everyone
I am new here and just bought a 96 Aurora 91K miles love the style and the ride. I have read all the post on the Aurora and have found all the info to be very helpfull from how to get to the rear plugs to fixing the loose steering column.
