gas Padel too sensitive

Hello everyone, I have 96 G20 with only 58K miles. Everytime I pushed the gas padel from stop to go, I felt throttle will hesitate to go as smooth as I expect; I check other forum seems like the throttle pos sensor need to be replaced, but don't how to fix it. I checked the local shop they will charge at least $90 just for computeralized checking, I would like to get the feedback from everyone before I decide what to do. Any feedback will be appreciated.
