1976 Porsche 912E:
$8,000, Black 2DR Coupe, 5000 Miles, Manual Transmission, 2WD, 4 Cylinders, Good Condition. New Paint, Garage Kept, 5k on Rebuilt engine ...

good buy or no? 0-60 in 13 seconds... i think my '85 accord can do that, and my parents 98 accord dx (stick) too. would this car be too boring?

you should have posted this in the 912 forums...

anyway, I am actually looking at 912s also, for a daily driver. I think that the 912 is more of a handling car than a pure balls-out beast. It is something that you can enjoy driving every day...I assume you would have more fun in it than in the Accord. Also, you should know that if you do a T-4 engine swap, you can be making 200+ hp. That is a lot in a 2100 lbs car.

I would have to hear more of the details before deciding if that is a good buy or not...I am looking at early 912s, not the E version. I don't know if that has any effect on the value.
